Mountain Climbing (2026)

At the edge of Spatharei, adventure begins where the mountain rises. Our guided climbing journeys offer more than challenge – they offer immersion. Gather first at Ninnie’s Garden, where equipment is fitted and spirits are lifted, before setting out through a shaded ravine that leads to the stone heart of Bournias.

Two steep rock faces await, where ropes and harnesses carry you upward, and every step brings you closer to the mountain itself. Hanging in silence, suspended in air, you do not only see nature – you become a part of it.

The climb reveals hidden secrets: caves once touched by the shadows of World War II, echoes of history carved into stone. Overhead, buzzards and eagles cut through the sky, their wings tracing circles of freedom. With each breath, the energy of the mountain seeps deeper, until stone, sky, and self are one.

This is not just climbing. This is communion with the mountain.

Tall, rugged gray rock formation with some green bushes and plants, set against a partly cloudy sky and mountain range in the distance.
